Dig Dug (Europe)
Dig Dug is an action puzzle game originally released in arcades. The Game Boy version maintains the core gameplay of the original: the player controls Dig Dug, a miner who must inflate and pop underground enemies using a pump. The game features a series of increasingly challenging levels, with various types of enemies and obstacles. The Game Boy port successfully translates the arcade game's simple yet addictive gameplay to the handheld console. Namco developed the original arcade game, with various publishers handling the Game Boy release in different regions.
