NFL Football (USA) was a Game Boy game that captured the excitement of American Football. Given its release date, it likely used a top-down perspective common in early football games for the console. The original development team and publishers might be lost to time, however, it's likely a product of the growing popularity of sports games on handheld consoles. Gameplay would have focused on fundamental football actions. It offered a simplified version of the sport adapted to the limitations of the handheld device.
