DK Jr. (SMK)
DK Jr. is a platform game originally released for the arcade in 1982. It's a spin-off of the Donkey Kong series, starring Donkey Kong's son, who must rescue his father from the clutches of Mario (who is the antagonist in this version). Gameplay involves climbing structures, avoiding obstacles, and reaching the top of the stage. Various home console and handheld ports followed, including the Game Boy Advance version which is a faithful reimagining of the original arcade classic, retaining the same core gameplay and visual style. Nintendo is credited with the original arcade and various port releases.
